Gene-editing is very close to being available to the public soon. Gene-editing has been tested and proven to be very beneficial if you use it the right way. Even though there are some side affects to gene-editing in this case the good pretty much ways out the bad. Some of the questions we still have about gene-editing are, What would we use it for?... and how would we make sure there are no major or serious side affects for the person or thing? We would probably use it for crops, human enhancement, etc.. There is no sure fire way to make sure that there would be no side affects or long lasting affects.  A benefit of potential side affects would be to learn from the side affects or health problems and try to improve the technology so those types of thing don't happen
